What You Need to Build a Website

There are many different ways of building a website, but I'm going to focus just on how I go about it. I have around 30 websites and can create a new one in less than a day. If you'd like to check them out, here are just a few of them:

Aging Slowdown

Dog Master Training

Happy, Fit and Slim

Internet Marketing FAST Training

Super Affiliate Challenge

The Book Inside

The Scam Warrior

All of these sites are built on the WordPress platform (FREE) using the toolset from the Thrive Suite.

They are all hosted on SiteGround. All of the domain names were registered through Namecheap. See Best Place to Buy Domain Names and Web Hosting for more information.

The Steps to Building a Commercial Website

There are only a handful of steps involved in building a commercial website but each is essential.

  1. Select your niche. This is the answer to the question "what is my business all about?" It needs to be something you are either knowledgeable (or even passionate) about or something that you can research. Examples of niches are "how to make money from home", "weight loss" and "extreme sports".
  2. Register a domain name based on that niche.
  3. Purchase web hosting and a website development toolset.
  4. Build your website.

1. Select Your Niche

Selecting your niche is your first step and, as it's what your business is going to be all about, it's an important one. Find out more at Niche Selection.

2. Register Your Domain Name

Registering your new domain name is simple and cheap. Finding a good domain name, not so much. I suggest you just go to Namecheap and try out different domain names related to your niche until you find one that no one else has registered.

3. Purchase Web Hosting and a Website Development Toolset

The webhost is an organization that runs the computer network where your website files are located. The webhost's software is what allows your website to be found from anywhere in the world with an internet connection.

I recommend SiteGround. It's fast, reliable and reasonably priced, with a choice of membership levels, depending on how many sites you want to host. You can, of course start with one and upgrade as your needs grow.

The Thrive Suite is the one and only website development toolset that I use and recommend. It's the first plugin I install on any new website and was used to develop all of the websites listed in my opening paragraph above.

Everything I see others struggling with is done easily with the Thrive suite. It can be the difference between surging forward with your website development and giving up because it's "too hard".

4. Build Your Website

This is the fun part.

Starting from nothing and creating the face of your business is an enormously satisfying experience.

But it's not necessarily easy, especially the first time.

But if you take up my two recommendations, SiteGround to host your websites and the Thrive Suite as your website development tool and I will mentor you personally until you have built your first website!

This will put you far, far ahead of others starting out.

To take up this offer, you need to get both SiteGround and the Thrive Suite by clicking on each of the links. Then email me phil (at) superaffiliatechallenge (dot) com with your receipts and I'll take it from there.
